Kids-Cue Rules and Regulations | Open to any child, ages 8 to 18 years.

 

• SENIOR Kids Cue – (13-18 years ONLY: AGE AT TIME OF COMPETITION.) team of 1, turn in ONE whole ribeye. Rules will be discussed at THE PACKET PICK UP WED. 10TH.  Competitors ONLY get an event badge to enter the property. MUST BE APART OF A COOK TEAM AS A SPONSOR/PARTICIPANT.

• TURN IN FRIDAY 6:00 – 6:10 PM

• RULES: EACH TEAM WILL DRAW FROM A BAG TO DETERMINE THE SELECTION ORDER OR STEAKS PROVIDED BY THE AG CLUB. EACH TEAM WILL TURN IN 1 WHOLE STEAK COOKED TO MEDIUM TEMPERATURE (warm pink center). NO GARNISHMENTS. NO SIDES. NO BRANDED MARKING DESIGNS OR LOGOS, GRILL MARKS ARE OK. NO VISIABLE BUTTER PRESENT AT TIME OF JUDGING (grounds for disqualification).

• FOOD Judging – will be based on 50 points, decimals are allowed to determine placing. Judging will be based on these categories: Appearance, Doneness, Flavor, Texture, Creativity.

 

JUNIOR Kids Cue – (ages 8 – 12 years ONLY: AGE AT TIME OF COMPETITION.) team of 1. Turn in ONE whole ribeye. Rules will be discussed at Head Cook Meeting. MUST BE APART OF A COOK TEAM AS A SPONSOR/PARTICIPANT.

• JUNIOR KIDS CUE TURN IN FRIDAY 6:50-7:00 PM.

• THIS AGE GROUP NEEDS THE ASSISTANCE OF ONE ADULT SUPERVISOR, DESIGNATED & REQUIRED.

• RULES: EACH TEAM WILL DRAW FROM A BAG TO DETERMINE THE SELECTION ORDER OR STEAKS PROVIDED BY THE AG CLUB. EACH TEAM WILL TURN IN 1 WHOLE STEAK COOKED TO MEDIUM TEMPERATURE (warm pink center).
